About Me:

 

My name is Adela, I'm' from the Czech Republic and I'm currently living in Taiwan. My (future) husband is from Ivory Coast and we started our journey in 2016. We are not married yet but I call him my husband, the word fiance sounds too fancy and I don't feel like he's my boyfriend anymore.

Back in Europe, I studied social anthropology and I'm about to get my graduate degree in environmental science here in Taiwan. I love cooking, especially challenging myself in making delicious vegan food (although I'm vegetarian). I love art as well, as you can see here... all the illustrations except photos are made by me.

Someone could call me a hippie because I guess I'm having dreadlocks, I don't use makeup and my bathroom shelf contents usually just soap, shea butter, and toothbrush. Although I still like clothes and other stuff like any other girl or woman, I appreciate natural beauty without filters and products. We're all beautiful!

In my family, babies were always around and I always knew that I wanted to be a mother. But I never thought that I will be having my first baby in Asia. Crazy and exciting for sure!

​

Here, I'll be sharing exciting, interesting, sometimes maybe nerve-wracking experiences from our life. We do things differently, sometimes even our families don't fully understand and I'm sure not every one of you will. But guess what, we don't care. We believe that we do our best and we don't judge people for trying their best either....Especially in such hard subject as parenthood, pregnancy or childbirth.
